Shawnee Mission Park is located in Johnson County Kansas. This is a multi-use park. There is a lake, marina, archery range and offleash dog area. The horse trails follow the park boundary and then wind along the lake shore, past the off leash dog area and back around to where you started. This is a nice day ride area with seperate parking for horse trailers. There are also hiking and mountain bike trails but from the map (link provided below) they are seperated from the horse trails, except for a short stretch where the hiking and horse trials meet. We haven't had a chance to ride at this park yet but check back soon for our review and pictures.

From I-435 exit at 87th Street, West to Renner Rd., North to Mable Fitch Memorial Drive (this entrance is after the
main park entrance at 79th Street) Horse Trailer parking is by the maintenance building.
